Empower next generation athletes
The Junior Kick-Start Program is an exciting school-based initiative designed to introduce young students to the fundamentals of competitive sports through interactive learning and mentorship. The program is led by student-athletes, who partner with PE teachers to create a fun, educational, and inspiring “Show & Tell” session. By combining peer engagement with professional guidance, Junior Kick-Start helps students not only learn how to play but also understand the values and discipline behind competitive sports.
Program Objectives
Student-athletes will demonstrate the basics of the selected sport — from warm-up exercises and core techniques to teamwork and in-game strategies. The sessions are hands-on, allowing students to actively participate and practice fundamental skills in a safe, guided environment.
Through engaging visual aids, demonstrations, and short interactive Q&As, student-athletes and PE teachers will help students understand the official rules, scoring systems, and fair-play standards. This ensures young learners develop both skill and game awareness from the start.
Each session concludes with motivational storytelling — student-athletes share their own journeys, including how they began, challenges they’ve faced, and what they’ve learned from competitive sports. This personal connection encourages younger students to dream big, set goals, and develop confidence both on and off the field.
